Springbok Casino double comps and the 2X tab
Springbok Casino double comps are paid on the slots in the lobby's 2X Double Comps tab: they earn 2 per R10 instead of the usual 1 comp point per R10. On 9 October 2026 the tab listed Olympus Thunderhold, Buffalo Mania Deluxe and Triple Tigers, and Springbok's monthly featured slot earns at the doubled rate too.
The titles change, so the tab itself is always the final word.

What double comps change, and what they do not
Double comps change one number: how quickly points arrive. The value of a point stays at 100 points = R1, the redemption floor stays at 100 points, and you still cash them in at Redeem Comps. Nothing else about the game is altered. The slot's return to player, its volatility and its bet range are exactly what they are in any other tab.
So the gain is real but narrow. At the standard rate your comps return 0.1% of turnover; on the 2X slots that becomes 0.2%. Put R5,000 through a 2X title and you collect 1,000 points (R10) instead of 500 (R5).
The slots on the 2X Double Comps tab
This is the line-up the lobby showed on 9 October 2026. Springbok's own articles have listed different titles in earlier months, which is the clearest sign that the tab is refreshed rather than fixed.

Because the list moves, we date it and recheck it rather than writing the names into every paragraph. If a favourite drops off, its comps fall back to the standard rate from then on.
Standard comps against double comps in rand
The table runs the same stakes at both rates. The doubled columns are exactly twice the standard ones, which also means the gap stays small in rand at everyday stake levels.
| Wagered | Points | Credit | 2X points | 2X credit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| R2,000 | 200 | R2 | 400 | R4 |
| R10,000 | 1,000 | R10 | 2,000 | R20 |
| R50,000 | 5,000 | R50 | 10,000 | R100 |
Reaching the 100 points floor on a 2X slot takes half the turnover it takes elsewhere, which is the practical benefit for a casual player: you can redeem sooner. It does not make a session cheaper, and comps never offset a loss in any meaningful way.
Game of the Month: the other double-comps slot
The T&Cs say the Game of the Month earns double comps and put the rate at R5 per point, which works out to the same speed as the 2X Double Comps tab. The featured title changes each month and is announced on Springbok's blog.
Each month's featured slot also comes with coupons sent to players' inboxes. Springbok says older codes retire and new offers load during the first days of each month.
Those inbox codes are not published, and anyone printing them in advance is guessing. For the featured title by month, see the Game of the Month calendar. When the featured slot is also on the 2X tab, the T&Cs do not say that the two stack, so expect double, not quadruple.
Finding the tab in the Springbok lobby
- Sign in to the lobby. It runs in the browser on phone and desktop; there is nothing to install.
- Open the game categories. The 2X Double Comps tab sits among the lobby's game category tabs.
- Pick a title you would play anyway. Check its bet range against your budget before you start.
- Redeem when you pass 100 points. The points land in the same balance as all your other comps.
Should double comps decide which slot you play?
Only as a tie-breaker. If two slots appeal to you equally and one is on the tab, the 2X title gives you a little more back. If you would rather play something else, the difference over an evening is usually a few rand of comp credit, which is not worth swapping a game you enjoy for one you do not.
The bigger levers sit elsewhere: the comp points guide shows when to redeem, and cashback on a no-bonus deposit protects far more of a deposit than any comp rate can.
